Part-Time Art Teacher for Adults
Location: Lancaster
Wage: Competitive hourly wage
Hours: Part-time – 4 classes per week

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Part-Time Art Teacher to lead art classes for adult learners. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching art to beginners and improvers and able to deliver engaging lessons in a variety of mediums.

Required Skills:

• Strong communication skills with a confident classroom presence
• Excellent subject knowledge in art techniques and materials
• Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment
• Organizational skills to plan and deliver structured lessons
• Ability to promote the courses to new and existing students
• Experience in curriculum development
• At least two years’ experience in a similar teaching role

Duties:

• Plan and deliver engaging art classes for adult learners
• Foster strong relationships with students and encourage their artistic growth
• Create a stimulating, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
• Provide constructive feedback on students' progress
• Maintain up-to-date teaching materials and resources
