About the Role:
Our client, a leading engineering solutions provider within the Oil & Gas industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Process Engineering to join their team in Perth, WA. The successful candidate will have a strong background in flange management, bolt tensioning, joint integrity, valve, and process systems engineering within the Oil & Gas sector. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering calculations related to flange management, bolt tensioning, joint integrity, valve, and process systems for Oil & Gas projects.
• Develop comprehensive workpacks for site execution, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to industry standards and client specifications.
• Provide technical support to site teams during installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of bolted joints, valves, and process systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including process engineers and operations staff, to ensure timely and on-budget project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure joint integrity, valve functionality, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with process engineering teams to optimize valve and process system performance and ensure system reliability and safety in Oil & Gas facilities.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance system performance and reduce operational risks.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for clients and internal records.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (essential).
• Proven experience in flange management, bolt tensioning, joint integrity engineering, valve, and process engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Strong understanding of mechanical calculations, stress analysis, bolted joint design, valve operation, and process engineering principles.
• Experience developing workpacks for on-site execution, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Familiarity with Oil & Gas industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and engineering calculations.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with valve testing, troubleshooting, and system optimization in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Knowledge of advanced bolt tensioning techniques and equipment.
• Previous involvement in large-scale industrial projects.
• Familiarity with process flow and control systems in Oil & Gas facilities.
