We’re seeking experienced HD Fitters for permanent, full-time roles with a reliable 2:1 roster. Position Details

  • Role: HD Fitter (FIFO from Perth)
  • Roster: 2:1 (two weeks on, one week off)
  • Employment Type: Permanent, full-time

Pay Rates (Flat Rate)

  • HD Fitter - Grade 1: $75.00 per hour (1-2 years of experience)
  • HD Fitter - Grade 2: $80.00 per hour (3-4 years of experience)
  • HD Fitter - Grade 3: $85.00 per hour (5+ years of experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on heavy-duty equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Fault Diagnosis: Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues on a range of equipment.
  • Component Change-outs: Conduct component replacements and repairs, including hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, and other HD machinery.
  • Field and Workshop Repairs: Perform repairs both on-site and in workshop settings, depending on operational needs.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring a safe workplace for yourself and others.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and diagnostics as required.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an HD Fitter, with pay grades increasing based on experience.
  • Qualifications: Relevant trade qualification as an HD Fitter.
  • Licensing: Valid driver’s license; forklift and working at heights tickets are advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment, with a strong understanding of heavy diesel mechanics.
  • FIFO Readiness: Ability to work on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth.
  • Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
