Vessel Welder

Pay: $23-28/HR. (Based on Experience)

Hours: M-F 5am-5:30p

Job type: Temp to Hire

Location: Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

Test Type: 3G/6G Down Hill MIG Open Rig, Uphill Fill and Cap Flux Core

Mig, Fluxcore welding process. Ability to pass applicable test(s) and applicable Non-Destructive exam. May weld brackets and braces and use grinders. May position pieces to be welded into jigs, holding fixtures, guides and steps using measuring instruments and hand tools. May perform position welds on code materials Proficient in flame and plasma cutting torches Must have some experience reading and understanding blueprints Must be able to operate basic cutting equipment Promotes and supports safety, production and positive attitude Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department Requires employee to rarely type and use a computer and other office equipment, such as copier, printer, calendar, telephones, etc. Requires operation of heavy such as welding tools on a constant frequency and forklift on an occasional frequency.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Perform welding tasks on vessels, tanks, and metal components according to specifications.
  • Use various welding techniques and equipment for fabrication and repair.
  • Ensure precision, adherence to safety protocols, in all welding tasks.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a welder, specifically in vessel or tank welding.
  • Proficiency in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious, and ability to read blueprints or technical documents.
