Position Overview

We are currently hiring an experienced Pipe Hanger to support the assembly and installation of piping systems for natural gas compressor packages in East Tulsa. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of pipe fitting and alignment, and experience working with tools and lifting equipment. This Pipe Hanger role plays a key part in ensuring accurate fitment, alignment, and preparation of piping systems for final installation while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.

Required Experience & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in pipe installation, fitting, or industrial piping roles
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, pipe schematics, and technical drawings
• Familiarity with pipe hanging tools and equipment
• Strong mechanical skills and basic hand tool knowledge
• Ability to work independently or in a team-oriented environment

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As a Pipe Hanger, your responsibilities will include:
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering specifications
• Using various tools including torque wrenches, impact guns, hand wrenches, and welding equipment
• Installing pipe systems with precision and ensuring secure, accurate alignment
• Leveling and aligning pipe hangers and supports
• Operating overhead cranes and man lifts safely
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Adhering to all safety protocols and PPE guidelines
• Working as a self-starter with minimal supervision
• Ensuring punctuality and reliable attendance

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs+ as needed with or without assistance
• Work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
