Manual Radial Drill/Subarc Operator
Pay: $20.00+/hour (Based on Experience)
Location: Port of Catoosa, OK
Shift: Monday–Thursday | 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM

Position Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Manual Radial Drill/Subarc Operator to join a growing manufacturing team at the Port of Catoosa. The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating manual radial drills and subarc machines, with a strong understanding of weld specifications, blueprints, and tolerances. As a Manual Radial Drill/Subarc Operator, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring precision machining and welding in the fabrication of pressure vessels and heat exchanger components.

Primary Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions and layout
• Set up and operate Manual Radial Drills and Subarc Machines
• Measure parts accurately using tools such as tape measures, dial calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
• Remove slag and clean parts using grinders
• Operate overhead cranes daily to move and position parts for machining
• Occasionally operate forklifts as needed

Required Experience & Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of manual radial drill experience
• 3+ years of welding pressure vessel or heat exchanger components
• Moderate knowledge of SAW welding processes
• Ability to read prints and adhere to WPS/PQR requirements
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and ability to maintain less than a 5% X-ray repair rate
• Team-oriented and self-motivated, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and quality standards
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to production needs

Physical Requirements
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in non-climate-controlled environments
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, reach, and bend for extended periods
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and at elevated heights
• Must use proper PPE due to exposure to welding fumes, grinding dust, and high noise areas
