Fintube Operator

• Pay: $24+/hr (based on experience)
• Hours: Night Shift, 5 PM - 3:30 AM

About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled Fintube Operator with 5+ years of experience operating a McElroy finning machine. If you’re dedicated to quality and precision in finning operations, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate finning machines to wrap or embed fin strip material on tubes, creating top-quality fintubes
• Read blueprints, planning sheets, and technical data to determine the right tooling and setup procedures
• Mount, align, and secure parts in the machine, adjusting speed, feed, and coolant flow as needed
• Monitor machine performance, making adjustments to ensure specifications are met
• Feed tubes into the machine, connect them using tube connectors, and continue the finning process
• Measure and verify tube dimensions with gauges, calipers, and rulers to ensure accuracy
• Stop the machine as needed for setup changes or precision checks
• Perform routine maintenance and clean the machine, tooling, and parts
• Use an overhead crane to mount finning strip rolls

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience operating a McElroy finning machine
• Strong blueprint reading skills and technical understanding
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Relevant experience or training equivalent to less than a high school diploma
