• Position Overview

The CNC Machinist is responsible for operating and supporting 5-axis CNC machining centers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This CNC Machinist role is ideal for candidates with strong machining fundamentals, attention to detail, and experience producing complex precision parts.

• Required Experience & Skills

• Experience operating 5-axis CNC machines (setup and/or operation)
• Strong understanding of machining principles, feeds, speeds, and tooling
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and CAD/CAM data
• Experience performing tool changes, offsets, and minor program edits
• Knowledge of precision measuring tools and inspection practices
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Reliable, team-oriented, and self-motivated
• GD&T knowledge preferred
• Aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing experience a plus

• Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot 5-axis CNC machines
• Work with machines including Haas, Matsuura, Toyoda, and Grob
• Inspect parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Work closely with engineering and quality teams to improve processes
• Follow all safety and quality procedures
