Pay: $33–$34/hour DOE (5+ years manufacturing experience required)
Hours: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Overtime: Friday & Saturday | 6:00 AM–2:15 PM as needed

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Class B Welder to join a heavy industrial fabrication team specializing in ASME Code equipment. The Class B Welder will weld on waste heat recovery units, including firetube boilers, watertube boilers, steam drums, economizers, superheaters, and pressure vessels.

Required Welding Tests

• 6"Sch 80 – 6G GTAW (Stringer/Hot Pass)

• SMAW Fill + Cap

• 3G FCAW – 1/2"Plate Test

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding using FCAW, SMAW, GTAW, and/or SAW

• Weld in all positions: flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead

• Utilize carbon arc gouging and cutting torch techniques

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and welding procedures

• Weld pressure and non-pressure components used in ASME fabrication

• Work with carbon steel, stainless, chrome, and nickel alloys

• Ensure all work meets ASME Code, company, and client requirements

• Pass X-rays and additional NDT testing requirements

• Perform shop labor duties as needed

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Requirements

• 5+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing setting (required)

• Experience with Flux Core (FCAW) and Stick (SMAW)

• Experience with TIG (GTAW) and/or Submerged Arc Welding (SAW)

• Ability to weld on ASME-coded equipment

• Ability to work overtime as needed

• Strong safety record, reliability, and attention to detail
