Position Overview

Join Sherman Buildings as a Sales Manager with expertise in leveraging technology to drive sales team performance. We are seeking an individual who can effectively utilize CRM platforms to measure and manage sales results and achieve business objectives. As a company that values innovation and efficiency, we are looking for someone who can develop and implement sales strategies, track and analyze sales team performance, and collaborate with the marketing team to manage leads.


Responsibilities

Leverage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems

·        Implementation and Customization: Deploying and customizing CRM systems to fit the specific needs of the sales team.

·        Data Integration: Integrating CRM with other tools and databases to ensure seamless data flow and a unified view of customer interactions.

·        Training: Conducting training sessions to ensure the sales team is proficient in using the CRM system.


Sales Analytics and Reporting

·        Data Collection: Setting up automated data collection processes to gather sales metrics from various sources.

·        Dashboard Creation: Using tools within the CRM and/or external software like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio to create interactive dashboards that provide real-time insights into sales performance.

·        Predictive Analytics: Implementing machine learning models to predict future sales trends and identify potential opportunities or risks.

Sales Automation Tools

·        Email Automation: Leveraging the CRM for automated email campaigns and follow-ups.

·        Lead Scoring: Implementing lead scoring systems to prioritize leads based on their likelihood to convert.

·        Workflow Automation: Using platforms like Zapier or Microsoft Power Automate to automate repetitive tasks such as data entry, follow-up reminders, and report generation.
 

Communication and Collaboration Platforms

·        Unified Communication Systems: Deploying platforms like Microsoft Teams for seamless communication within the sales team.

·        Document Sharing and Collaboration: Using tools like Microsoft Office 365 for real-time document collaboration and sharing.
 

Sales Enablement Tools

·        Content Management Systems (CMS): Implementing CMS platforms to manage and distribute sales collateral effectively.

·        Training Platforms: Using the Learning Management Systems (LMS) in the CRM for ongoing training and development of the sales team.

·        Interactive Demos and Presentations: Leveraging tools like Prezi, DemoChimp, or Showpad for creating engaging product demos and presentations.
 

Customer Feedback and Survey Tools

·        Survey Platforms: Using the survey tools within the CRM to gather customer feedback.

·        Net Promoter Score (NPS): Implementing NPS surveys to gauge customer satisfaction and loyalty.
 

Mobile Sales Solutions

·        Mobile CRM Apps: Leveraging the CRM’s mobile app for on-the-go access by the sales team.

·        Field Sales Tools: Deploying mobile solutions tailored for field sales representatives, such as geo-tagging features for tracking visits.
 

E-commerce Integration

·        Online Sales Portals: Setting up online sales rooms, such as those from Panda Docs and integrate the e-commerce solutions from the CRM for seamless order processing.

·        Payment Gateways: Integrating secure payment gateways to facilitate online transactions.
 

Performance Management Systems

·        KPI Tracking Tools: Implementing software solutions that track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) specific to sales activities.

·        Gamification Platforms: Using gamification techniques through platforms like Hoopla or Spinify to motivate the sales team by turning tasks into competitive games.


Requirements

·        Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role, preferably in the construction industry

·        Deep expertise in utilizing CRM and related technology platforms

·        Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions

·        Excellent communication and leadership skills

·        Ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve targets

·        Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques

·        Knowledge of construction industry trends and customer needs is a plus
