Role: Project Accountant

Location: Chennai 

Key Responsibilities:

• Create Project Accounts GL in the accounting system i.e. SAP
• Maintain project-related records, including contracts and change orders
• Review and approve supplier invoices related to a project and enter the same into SAP by MIRO
• Review and approve overhead charges to be applied to a project
• Review account totals related to project assets and expenses
• Investigate project variances ( budget vs actual) and submit variance reports to management
• Preparing reports related to unpaid contract billings
• Report on project profitability to management
• Respond to requests received from Vendors
• Close out project accounts upon project completion
• Compile information for internal and external auditors, as required

 Candidate Background:  

• Full Time CA/ICWA Inter with at least 12+ years of relevant experience 
• Should be willing to travel across Company locations
