Position Description  

As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and positive journey of our customers from the point of sale to ongoing success. Reporting to the Head of Customer Experience you will own the project management of the successful delivery of each new plant. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver a world-class customer experience.

What you bring to the team  

  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science/Science/Business with formal grounding in software or the equivalent combination of business/technical education and experience
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, implementing software solutions for customers
  • Demonstrable experience leading complex customer-facing projects, including resource allocation.
  • Preferred certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making. 
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and project management software. 
  • Customer-centric approach with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. 

Responsibilities  

Project Management: 

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans to guide the customer journey, from sales engagement to onboarding, successful value realization, and product delivery to customer success. 
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure alignment on customer experience objectives. 
  • Prepare and lead project management aspects of onboarding process such as kickoff call presentations, project charters, project update calls or emails with customers. 
  • Monitor and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of the onboarding projects and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Keep stakeholder informed and supported by sharing relevant insights and feedback gathered during the onboarding process. 

Onboarding and Implementation: 

  • Collaborate with the sales team to gather client requirements and expectations during the pre-sales phase. 
  • Lead the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation, and facilitate effective communication between internal stakeholders and the client. 
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Manager to keep project elements on track and triage new requests and data points from internal teams and customers.  

Continuous Improvement: 

  • Analyze customer feedback and performance data to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced customer satisfaction. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and optimizations to the customer experience journey related to projects. 
  • Lead regular team retrospective meetings to ensure each team members blockers are openly discussed. 

Nice to Have  

  • Experience in the water industry, ideally in water/wastewater treatment 
  • Experience working for a SaaS startup
