Position Description  

You will be a key part of Pani’s product team reporting to the Director of Product. You will be responsible for working closely with our engineers, data scientists, process modelers and subject matter experts to shape our product for a diverse group of international customers. With support from the Director of Product, you will define best practices and ensure team success through consistent engagement and overall product value creation.

What you bring to the team 

• University degree in engineering, business, or relevant equivalent experience  

• Product Owner or Scrum Master Certification 

• 3+ years of experience in a product ownership (or equivalent) role 

• In-depth knowledge of agile process and principles 

• Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences 

• Natural collaborator with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback 

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills 

• Eager to be part of a fast-paced team 

Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with users to understand and anticipate their needs and translate learnings into product requirements 

• Define and communicate the vision for the team’s product 

• Oversee all stages of product creation including design and development 

• Assess value, develop user stories, and prioritize backlog to maximize product value and alignment with the overall product strategy 

• Manage product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionality 

• Maintain an intimate understanding of the product roadmap to align release plans with Pani’s long term vision 

• Research and analyze the market and users and use this knowledge to define product release plans 

Nice to Have  

• Experience in the water industry, ideally in water/wastewater treatment 

• Experience working for a SaaS startup
