Job Overview

As a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Zero-X, you will be immersed in cutting-edge research and development activities within our lab at Petronas University. You will gain hands-on experience in running tests, feedstock analysis, assembly, and reporting, all while preparing for an advanced educational journey in Germany. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen interest in mechanical engineering, sustainable technologies, and a desire to learn German.

Key Responsibilities

• Lab Testing:

  • Conduct and oversee various tests within the lab to support our waste-to-hydrogen projects.
  • Ensure accurate data collection and analysis to drive project success.

• Feedstock Testing:

  • Perform detailed feedstock testing to evaluate and optimize material performance.
  • Collaborate with the team to interpret results and recommend improvements.

• Assembly & Fabrication:

  • Assist in the assembly and fabrication of prototypes and testing apparatus.
  • Apply hands-on skills to build and refine experimental setups.

• Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare comprehensive reports on test findings and project progress.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation for research and development activities.

• Learning & Development:

  • Engage in continuous learning opportunities, including language training in German.
  • Prepare for a Masters Degree program at a leading university in Germany.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in sustainable technologies and waste-to-hydrogen solutions.
