Experience- 4+years
Manage and maintain Linux servers (AlmaLinux, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, etc.) and Windows Servers
- Perform server installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Troubleshoot server performance issues and system errors
- Monitor system logs and resolve alerts
- Knowledge in IIS,Active Directory,Remote Desktop , Windows Firewall etc.
Hosting & Control Panels
- Manage cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin, or similar hosting panels
- Handle email server troubleshooting (SMTP, IMAP, POP3)
- Resolve website downtime and performance issues
- Mysql / Mariadb installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- DB optimization, migrations and restorations.
Networking & Security
- Configure and troubleshoot firewalls (CSF, iptables, nftables)
- Manage SSH access, security policies, and server hardening
- Troubleshoot DNS issues and network connectivity problems
Virtualization & Cloud
- Manage KVM, OpenStack, HyperV, or Virtualizor environments
- Assist in VM deployment, migration, and troubleshooting
- Monitor cloud infrastructure health
Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Configure and manage backup solutions (Acronis, Rsync, FTP backups, etc.)
- Restore data during incidents
Monitoring & Incident Handling
- Work with monitoring tools like Zabbix or any another monitoring tool
- Investigate alerts and resolve incidents
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for outages
Automation & Scripting
- Write basic Bash scripts for automation
- Automate routine tasks such as backups, monitoring checks, and log cleanup
Client & Team Coordination
- Handle escalated tickets from L1 engineers
- Communicate with clients for technical troubleshooting
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions
