We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 1099 cloud infrastructure architect to join our team as an independent contractor for our clients’. As a cloud architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and services for our clients, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud architecture solutions using AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.

• Develop and deploy scalable, high-performance, and secure cloud solutions.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Conduct assessments of existing infrastructure and recommend improvements or migration strategies.

• Automate cloud operations and management using tools and scripts.

• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior cloud engineers and developers.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud technologies and best practices.

• Document technical designs, procedures, and policies for future reference.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with expertise in AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.

• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture principles and best practices.

• Proficiency in designing and deploying cloud solutions using AWS, GCP, and/or Azure services.

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Contract Details:

• This is a 1099 independent contractor position.

• Flexible working hours based on client needs.

• Compensation will be based on the complexity and duration of tasks/projects.
