We are currently looking for an HR & Payroll Specialist for our Dutch entities who will join the team in the Netherlands (Den Bosch) and work with various stakeholders to ensure accurate on-site payroll and accounting.

This position is Remote from the Netherlands, London or Barcelona.

 

Your Responsibilities in this role:

Payroll & People Processing:

  1. Process monthly Dutch payroll accurately and on time by using Nmbrs.

  2. Calculate salaries, bonuses, overtime, and deductions by legal requirements and company policies, ensuring statutory results are accurately calculated and processed.

  3. Collaborate with the pension provider to keep pension obligations up-to-date.

  4. Manage employee records and ensure data accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

  5. Facilitate onboarding and offboarding procedures for new and departing employees and handle their inquiries.

  6. Apply and manage correspondence for 30% facility tax ruling for eligible consultants. 

  7. Collaborate with Visa and migration-related tasks.

Compliance and Reporting:

  1. Stay updated on Dutch labour laws, tax regulations, and other relevant legislation affecting HR and payroll processes.

  2. Prepare and submit statutory reports, including tax filings, pension contributions, and annual declarations.

  3. Managing yearly audits (NEN4400-1/SNA) and compliance reviews, maintaining accurate records and documentation.

 

What you bring to the role and the team:

Required:

  1. Dutch native speaker and fluency in written and spoken English is a must.

  2. Bachelor's degree in BA + Payroll knowledge and experience.

  3. +4 years of proven experience in HR and +3 years producing payroll onsite in the Netherlands.

  4. Good understanding of Dutch employment laws, tax regulations, and immigration policies.

  5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management and payroll calculations.

  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. 

  7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Valuable:

  1. Experience working with NMBRS.

  2. Experience in visa application processing and expat hiring.

  3. Experience working for an Employer or Record (EOR) or similar industries.

  4. Experience in managing the NEN4400-1/SNA audit.
